The Ocean Beach Oktoberfest – the uniquely Southern California salute to the celebration of German culture and fun – is back this year, for two days. The party will begin on Friday Oct. 11th and extend through Saturday night, Oct. 12th. Hours are 4:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, with free bike parking Saturday. For the second year in a row – the event will start on Friday night, (10/12), with a Battle of the Bands, Happy Hour and all sorts of Oktoberfest fun!
Saturday the live music, beer garden, German nosh, beachfront vendors, German bands and fun will take place all day long.
Both days of the festival will take place in the Pier parking lot at the foot of Newport Ave.
