The Elsbree House was built in 1991 in New England flavor. It is owned and operated by Katie and Phil Elsbree who live on site.
The Bed and Breakfast is a short 1/2 block walk to the bathing/surfing beach, Ocean Beach Pier for fishing, and the seaside cliffs with their tidal pools. Also, within walking distance are a wide range of restaurants, pubs, coffee houses, groceries, hardware, office supplies, surf shops, post office, banks, etc. One of the unique shopping opportunities is the collection of quality antique stores and malls. Located just minutes away from the Mexican border and 10 minutes from San Diego’s Lindbergh International Airport.

We have some great eateries a short 5 minute walk from the B&B. You can come home after a long hard day at the convention and relax with a glass of wine and watch the sunset or go out for a leisurely dinner in one of 36 quaint restaurants, pubs, deli and coffee shops.
Whatever you decide, just be sure to enjoy your time in Ocean Beach/San Diego to the max. Take home positive memories and we’ll be waiting for your next visit.
Katie is available to help with directions, reservations and suggestions on where to find the “Best Kept Local Secrets”, restaurants, shopping, theaters, food stores, antique shops, pubs, surf shops, farmers market, churches, music, public transportation, bus lines, well, you get the idea…
Phil is quiet, focused and a “behind the scenes guy” making delicious home made muffins and bread, keeping the gardens beautiful and working hard to make sure the accommodations are immaculate for your visit.
